Absentee Ballots will be available beginning Wednesday, May 13, for mail and in-person voting.
The Auditor's Office can begin accepting request forms on Tuesday, March 24. The last day an absentee ballot may be mailed to a voter for this election is Monday, May 18 until 5:00 p.m. In-person absentee voting in the office of the Mitchell County Auditor closes at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 2.
All absentee ballots must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day to be considered on time to be counted.
